The Republican, who's running for Texas comptroller in 2006, said she'll let the additional money remain with the state.
The Legislature approved pay raises for certain statewide elected offices during the session that concluded in May.
Combs currently earns just over $92,200 annually.
She's in line to get a boost of almost $32,800 when the new two-year state budget takes effect Sept. 1."
