Lawmaker vows to fight BRAC plans

Abilene Reporter News: Military: "Paraphrasing Revolutionary War hero John Paul Jones' famous statement ''I have not yet begun to fight,'' a Wichita Falls lawmaker said his city plans to fight to keep more than 2,600 jobs from leaving Sheppard Air Force Base.

Sen. Craig Estes, R-Wichita Falls, cited Jones' words Monday at the Capitol during a gathering focused on the Pentagon's recommendations to the Base Realignment and Closure Commission."
