Strayhorn son joins campaign, but White House son staying put

KLTV 7 Tyler-Longview-Jacksonville, TX: Strayhorn son joins campaign, but White House son staying put: "A son of Texas comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn today joined her G-O-P campaign for governor.
Brad McClellan has been an assistant attorney general for Texas. He'll be campaign manager for his mother's run for governor.

Strayhorn on Saturday announced she's challenging fellow Republican Governor Rick Perry in 2006.

No Democrats have formally announced for governor, although former Congressman Chris Bell of Houston is considered a possible candidate.

Two of Strayhorn's four sons are serving in the Bush administration.

Scott McClellan is a White House spokesman.

Doctor Mark McClellan is administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Brad's twin, Dudley McClellan, is the deputy counsel for the State Bar of Texas."
