A CAPITOL BLOG: ANA HERNANDEZ: "I took the time to meet the person so many are clamoring about being a possible replacement for my former colleague, Rep. Joe Moreno. Ana Hernandez is the person that many believe will eventually be elected to the seat in the November election. The gathering tonight was filled with many of the people you would expect to see in any event for an eventual winner.
Senator Mario Gallegos was there as were representatives, Ferrar, Noriega, Dunham, Coleman, Martinez-Fisher, Gonzales, Gonzalez-Tourilles, Herreo, Guillen, Rodriguez. I of course, having read recent stories by my friends at Dos Centavos, was there to meet the young candidate.
Ana, who I met for the first time, is articulate, intelligent, and passionate about filling the shoes of our dearly departed brother Joe Moreno.
