Well, 1) it no longer surprises me when certain Republicans explicitly link their party and policies to socially conservative Christianity. Let me recap. The Governor of Texas signed a bill into law at a church. Forget what bill it was, that doesn’t matter. What’s important is that he created law at a church. Could you imagine what would happen if a Muslim politician in America signed a bill into law at a Mosque?"
