Sidebar Comments

I've added some fairly extensive comments to the sidebar about the tone, direction, and standards of this weblog. While I'm not new to blogging--I maintained a blog for Big Country for Dean during Howard Dean's nomination run in 2004--this is the first time I've seriously considered both the rights and the responsibilities of being a political blogger in the 21st century. I consider the sidebar comments to be a work in progress. Please help me refine them to a crystal purity. By that I mean less, not more. I don't want legal speak. I do want a standard for what a good, but admittedly biased, political blog should aspire to.
