A bill approved Tuesday to raise the pay of every judge in the state also boosts lawmakers' pensions, which by law are linked to judicial pay. Under the bill, lawmakers who have served at least 12 years can retire at age 50 with a pension of $34,500, a $6,100 bump over current law."
